IMCD Group, a global leading partner for the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, has officially opened its new Technical Centre in Istanbul, Türkiye. Designed as a strategic hub, the Centre delivers formulation development, optimisation of existing commercial products, technical consultancy, and hands-on support for customers’ innovation pipelines.
The IMCD Türkiye Technical Centre, opened in Ataşehir, Istanbul, consolidates the food and nutrition, beauty and personal care, and coatings and construction laboratories — previously operating from separate locations — into a single, expanded facility with enhanced scope and technical equipment. A pharmaceuticals laboratory has also been established within the Centre for the first time, further strengthening its technical and innovation capabilities.
The Centre adds to IMCD’s global network of more than 80 technical centres and laboratories, reinforcing the Company’s commitment to innovation and local customer support. The new Pharmaceuticals Technical Centre acts as regional centre serving the local market and extending to the Middle East, Maghreb, Egypt, Kenya, and South Africa.
