Radisson Brings Live Hotel Search to ChatGPT

Radisson Hotel Group has partnered with Accenture to launch an AI-powered hotel discovery app called RadissonHotels inside ChatGPT, letting travellers search, compare and plan stays through conversational prompts. The app, announced on 29 July 2026, covers more than 1,000 hotels across over 100 countries, including Radisson’s growing India portfolio.

Users start a ChatGPT prompt with the app’s name and describe their travel needs, such as a family-friendly weekend stay or a hotel with a gym near a specific landmark, and receive property recommendations, live availability, rates, amenities and map-based results. Bookings are not completed inside ChatGPT; users are directed to Radisson’s website to finalise reservations.

How Does Radisson’s ChatGPT Hotel Search Actually Work?

The app was built using an MCP accelerator within Accenture’s AI Merchant Center, which structured and validated Radisson’s property content, inventory, rates and booking information for AI-led discovery. Accenture also designed the app’s user experience and integrated it with Radisson’s existing systems, part of a broader digital overhaul that has previously consolidated Radisson’s brands onto a single global digital platform.

What Does This Mean for Hotel Bookings and Travel Planning in India?

Citing Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research, the companies said 87% of travellers were open to working with an AI-powered travel agent to find suitable options, and 71% expected AI to influence at least half of their hotel or airline spending over the following 12 months. For Indian travellers increasingly researching trips through conversational AI tools rather than traditional search engines, the launch signals a shift in how hospitality brands compete for visibility, moving from search-engine optimisation toward “being chosen” inside AI chat interfaces.

Industry Reaction and Expert Commentary

“AI is radically transforming how people search for and book hotel stays, and we are committed to being at the forefront of this shift,” said Gianni Di Fede, Chief Commercial Officer, Radisson Hotel Group. Ndidi Oteh, CEO of Accenture Song, said agentic commerce is “fundamentally changing how people discover and choose brands,” while Emily Weiss, Accenture’s global travel lead, said the focus was on making hotel content “more accessible” so travellers can move from research to booking more seamlessly.

What Happens Next?

Radisson and Accenture plan to add features including personalised results, loyalty recognition, in-chat reservations, booking management, trip modifications and AI concierge services. The rollout forms part of Radisson’s wider direct-booking strategy, and its performance will be watched closely by rival hotel groups weighing similar investments in conversational AI-driven discovery.
