Clueso has raised $10 million (about ₹95 crore) in a Series A round led by Dharana Capital to scale its AI agents that create and update videos for businesses. The Clueso Series A was announced on 13 October 2026, according to YourStory and Inc42.

Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures are new investors, while Y Combinator and F7 Ventures are existing backers. Total funding to date is about $12 million, and the earlier seed round was $1.4 million led by F7 Ventures. The company was founded in 2023 by IIT Madras batchmates Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash and Neel Balar.

What Does Clueso’s AI Video Platform Do?

Clueso builds AI agents that learn a company’s products, processes, brand and context, then use that knowledge to produce and maintain videos across the organisation. Inc42 reports that the platform finds gaps in existing video content, captures software workflows, and generates videos with scripts, voiceovers, animations and captions. Users can edit in a browser-based editor and refresh videos when products or brand guidelines change.

Its Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT create, edit and manage videos. Anand describes Clueso as a dedicated end-to-end platform for enterprises rather than a consumer prompt-to-video tool. Pricing is subscription-based, depending on videos created and updated, teams and products covered.

How Big Is Clueso’s Customer Base?

Clueso claims more than 1,000 paying customers globally, including Atlassian, GitLab, Zendesk, Gainsight, Global Partners, Seismic and Ironclad. Indian customers include PhonePe, Zoho and MoEngage. By geography, about 65% of customers are in the US, 20% in Europe and 10-15% in India, and over 70% of videos are customer-facing, such as product launches and educational content. YourStory reports the company claims over 5x productivity gains and an 80% drop in video production costs for users; these are company claims.

Industry Reaction and Expert Commentary

Anand said, “We quickly saw the same problem across marketing, sales, training and internal documentation.” Vamsi Duvvuri, founder and managing partner at Dharana Capital, said video is “evolving from static media files into living, context-aware assets.” No reaction from industry bodies was found.

What Happens Next?

Clueso will use the capital to expand enterprise sales and marketing, strengthen its AI agent layer, improve video editing and deepen integrations with business systems. Over the next 12-18 months, Inc42 reports, it plans to expand enterprise integrations, automate more of video production, and track viewer engagement to improve videos. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, with a 39-member team, about 35 of whom are in India, mainly in Bengaluru.
