VinFast recorded 2,961 units, Kia 1,256 units (up 110%), Maruti Suzuki 1,095 units, BYD 831 units, Hyundai 789 units (up 95%), BMW 501 units and Tesla 279 units. The top five manufacturers together held 89% of the market.

At the current pace, FY27 electric car registrations are projected to exceed 380,000 units.
