drinktec India 2026 is an international B2B trade fair for the beverage, dairy and liquid food industries, held from 28 to 30 October 2026 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East, Mumbai, for processors, bottlers, dairies and packaging buyers.
The show is organised by Messe Muenchen India, the Indian subsidiary of Messe München, which runs the global drinktec fair in Munich. The India edition brings that format to the domestic market, covering the full liquid food value chain from raw material processing and filling to packaging, labelling and automation. For 2026, the Indian Dairy Association (West Zone) has joined as Strategic Association Partner, signalling a stronger dairy focus. Organiser preview material for this edition points to more than 400 exhibitors and over 45,000 sq m of exhibition space, though final figures will only be confirmed after the show. The event is listed on the drinktec India 2026 page on MeetGrow.
What to Expect at drinktec India 2026
Exhibitors are expected to span processing equipment, filling and capping lines, PET and glass container technology, labelling and coding systems, process automation, water treatment, ingredients and packaging materials. Technical seminars, product launches and live demonstrations are planned as part of the programme, giving visitors a chance to see equipment running rather than relying on specifications alone.
The strategic partnership with IDA (West Zone) is expected to bring more attention to milk processing, value-added dairy products and cold-chain-ready packaging. Confirmed speaker lists and exhibitor launches for 2026 had not been fully published at the time of writing.
Who Should Attend drinktec India?
The fair is built for production heads, plant engineers and procurement teams at beverage companies, dairy cooperatives and private dairies, juice and functional drink brands, breweries, bottled water producers and contract packers. Packaging converters, ingredient suppliers and automation integrators serving these companies will also find relevant buyers on the floor.
Typical outcomes include shortlisting filling and packaging line suppliers, comparing automation options for capacity expansion, sourcing new packaging formats, and tracking how competitors are approaching sustainability and lightweighting.

Why Food and Beverage Professionals Shouldn’t Miss This Expo
India’s beverage and dairy sectors are investing in capacity as packaged drink consumption grows beyond metros into smaller towns. That growth is raising demand for faster, more hygienic and more flexible filling lines that can handle multiple SKUs and pack sizes.
Regulation is also shaping investment decisions. The food regulator’s move on front-of-pack labelling means brands are reviewing label formats and reformulating products, which feeds directly into coding, labelling and packaging choices. Plastic waste rules and brand sustainability targets are pushing companies toward recycled PET, lighter bottles and alternative formats. drinktec India follows closely on other food technology shows such as Anuga FoodTec India 2026, and together they give processors a clear view of the equipment and materials available for their next round of investment.
