Industry Reaction and Expert Commentary
Achin Khanna, Managing Partner, Strategic Advisory at Hotelivate-Savills, said: “Demand is growing, rates are rising and the development pipeline suggests that nobody intends to leave the table hungry.” The report advises developers and investors to assess location-specific demand, product positioning and project timing rather than rely only on national growth trends.
What Happens Next?
With pipelines in some smaller destinations far exceeding current inventory, the pace at which rooms actually open, and whether demand keeps pace, will determine rates in those markets. The source did not include operator or association comment.
