PackMach Asia Expo 2026 is a B2B trade fair for packaging, processing and filling machinery that runs from 28 to 30 October 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, aimed at manufacturers, brand owners and procurement teams in food, beverage, pharmaceuticals, FMCG and personal care.
The show is organised by Messe Muenchen India and IPMMI, and is co-located with drinktec India, the trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry. Organisers describe the 2025 edition as their most successful to date, with more than 300 exhibitors, over 23,000 square metres of exhibition space and 20,000-plus trade visitors from 49-plus countries. Those are last year’s figures, and 2026 numbers will be confirmed by the organisers after the show. You can also read our October 2026 expo roundup for the wider calendar.
What to Expect at PackMach Asia Expo 2026
The exhibition floor is built around the full packaging line: processing equipment, filling and sealing machines, labelling and coding, automation, and quality and inspection technologies. Organisers also highlight sustainable packaging solutions, a theme that continues to gain weight as brand owners respond to recycled-content targets and extended producer responsibility rules in India. A conference programme and networking sessions run alongside the exhibits, giving visitors a chance to compare suppliers and hear how peers are modernising their plants.
Because the show shares its halls with drinktec India, visitors from beverage and liquid food can cover both packaging and process technology in a single trip. Expect live machine demonstrations, product launches from domestic and international suppliers, and a large number of enquiries around automation and line efficiency.
Who Should Attend PackMach Asia Expo?
The show is most useful for plant heads, packaging technologists, procurement managers and operations leaders at food, beverage, pharma, FMCG and personal care companies. Contract packers, converters and startups looking for machinery partners will also find relevant exhibitors. Typical outcomes include shortlisting machine suppliers, comparing quotations side by side, meeting service teams and spotting new technology before committing capex. Machinery makers and component suppliers can use the show to reach buyers from across India and overseas markets.
Dates, Venue and How to Register
PackMach Asia Expo 2026 takes place from 28 to 30 October 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), Goregaon East, Mumbai. Visitor registration details are available on the official event page and on MeetGrow. Registering ahead of the show is usually faster than queuing for on-site passes, so trade visitors should complete it before the opening day.
Why Packaging Professionals Shouldn’t Miss This Expo
Packaging is under pressure from several directions at once: rising material costs, sustainability regulation, labour shortages and demand for faster changeovers. Machinery that reduces waste, supports mono-material formats and integrates with factory automation is increasingly a competitive requirement rather than an upgrade. A single show that brings machine builders, automation specialists and quality-control vendors together lets buyers benchmark options quickly. Visitors from adjacent sectors can also read our Industrial Connect Expo preview for another automation-led event later in November.
