Simplismart, a Bengaluru-based AI inference startup, has raised $14 million (around ₹133 crore) in a Series B round led by Dallas Venture Capital, with NVIDIA among the participants. The Simplismart Series B was reported by Inc42 on 27 October 2026 and comes as the company says its annualised revenue run rate has grown 14X over the past six months.

Founded in 2022 by Amritanshu Jain (cofounder and CEO) and Devansh Ghatak (cofounder and CTO), Simplismart builds software that sits between AI models and the GPUs that run them. Besides Dallas Venture Capital and NVIDIA, the round saw participation from Accel, Shastra VC, Micromax and angel investors, according to the report.

What Does the Simplismart Series B Fund?

According to Inc42, the money will go into developing the company’s AI inference platform, deepening partnerships with cloud providers and sovereign AI players, and expanding across North America and other global markets. CTO Devansh Ghatak said the funds will also support a dynamic GPU scheduling layer. CEO Amritanshu Jain said Dallas Venture Capital invested close to $5 million of the round.

The company did not disclose an absolute revenue figure. It said roughly 55% of revenue comes from the US and the remainder from India. The startup previously raised a $7 million Series A led by Accel in October 2024.

Why Does AI Inference Infrastructure Matter for Indian Businesses?

Inference is the stage where a trained AI model actually serves users, and it is where much of the ongoing GPU cost sits. Simplismart’s customers named in the report include HeyGen, Higgsfield, InVideo, Shiprocket, Apna and Ema. Data-centre operator Yotta uses the platform to power the serverless inference layer of its Shakti Studio. For Indian enterprises building on AI models, tools that raise GPU utilisation can influence how affordable such deployments become.

Industry Reaction and Expert Commentary

Jain described the company’s approach in the report: “We have spent four years building the software layer between the model and the GPU.” No independent analyst commentary on the round was found in the sources reviewed, and no valuation was disclosed.

What Happens Next?

Simplismart plans to push further into North America and other global markets while building out partnerships with cloud and sovereign AI players. The company has not published specific launch dates for the GPU scheduling layer. Readers can watch for updates on customer additions and any disclosure of revenue figures.
