Hyatt Signs Four Hotel Deals With Saraca Hotels

Hyatt has signed four hotel deals with Saraca Hotels & Resorts across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, including the first Unscripted by Hyatt properties in India, Hotelier India reported on 2 November 2026. The Hyatt Saraca Hotels agreement covers two existing hotels and two planned developments.

Saraca Hotels & Resorts was founded by Mohammad Abdullah.

Which Properties Are Included?

Two existing properties will join Unscripted by Hyatt: Saraca Hotel Lucknow, with 41 rooms on Mall Avenue, and Saraca Resort & Spa Corbett, with 44 rooms and suites on nine acres at the edge of the Corbett Tiger Reserve.

Two developments are planned near Jim Corbett National Park: a Destination by Hyatt resort on about 20 acres with roughly 111 accommodations including villas, suites and residences, and Hyatt Place Jim Corbett Mohaan, expected to have 70 guestrooms.

What It Means for Indian Hospitality

Unscripted by Hyatt is part of Hyatt’s Essentials Portfolio and is designed for independent hotels. Member properties keep their own identities while gaining access to Hyatt’s distribution network and the World of Hyatt loyalty programme. The deal brings that model to India for the first time and adds wildlife-tourism inventory near Jim Corbett.
