The Avery Dennison Bengaluru distribution center is a new facility that is 2.3 times larger than the company’s earlier warehouse in the city and has more than double its capacity. Packaging South Asia reported the details on 26 October 2026, ahead of the Loupe India show.
The center stocks pressure-sensitive labels, intelligent labels, tapes, graphics and reflective solutions, and offers one-day delivery within Bengaluru. Saurabh Agarwal, Vice President and General Manager, South Asia, at Avery Dennison, described it as “a strategic investment in the supply-chain capabilities required to support our customers’ growth.”
What Does the New Bengaluru Distribution Center Offer?
The site lies outside Bengaluru’s operational restrictions, which supports the one-day delivery promise. It includes a customer experience center where brand owners and partners can evaluate materials and applications. Agarwal said each material type has different storage and handling needs, so the facility manages them separately and handles inventory on a first-in, first-out basis. The layout is designed so added volume does not slow service.
How Does This Fit Avery Dennison’s India Expansion?
Avery Dennison opened its first Bengaluru distribution center in 2010 and a knowledge center in 2012 beside its slitting and rewinding facility. In 2022 it commissioned a manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which doubled its pressure-sensitive label production capacity. In 2025 it set up its first RFID inlay and label manufacturing facility in India, in Pune. Agarwal said the company’s approach “has always been to build capacity ahead of demand.”
Why Are Labels and Intelligent Packaging in Demand?
Agarwal cited sustainability, evolving regulations, and product authentication and safety as trends driving demand for specialised materials. He said being closer to customers means “fewer delays, fewer follow ups and more time spent solving problems together.”

Industrial Front did not find analyst commentary, stock reaction or a trade body statement on this announcement. The report did not disclose the investment amount or the center’s exact floor area.
What Happens Next?
Label converters and brand owners in South India can use the center for faster material supply. Further capacity moves by Avery Dennison and other label-material suppliers may be discussed at Loupe India, where the company’s executive gave the interview.
